Peter G.

I resolved Peter’s case with the assistance of my colleague Todd A. Porter of the Law Office of Todd A. Porter. The Defendant, while driving recklessly, severely injured my client in a major automobile collision. The Defendant’s insurance carrier initially refused to release coverage information; I immediately filed suit, adding a claim for punitive damages. Defendant filed a Motion to Strike the punitive damages; the Motion was granted by the trial court with leave to amend. After an intense investigation, Mr. Porter and I determined the same Defendant had almost hit another car head-on 30 seconds before striking my client’s vehicle. Mr. Porter and I re-asserted the punitive damages claim, pressuring the carrier to pay the $3,500,000.00 policy limits.
